At any given time there are a myriad of His gifts and leadings at work in our body. Because we try our best to listen and follow what He directs us to do, things can change, sometimes very quickly, but here’s what we’re currently up to….
SUNDAY
WORSHIP
10am
Central to our body life is our weekly meeting on Sunday morning. We currently come together at 10am each week, with a purpose and goal to leave all of our purposes and goals at the door and attempt to listen and follow His Holy Spirit in everything that happens during our time together. We’d like to say that because of that, our gatherings are consistently devoid of human intervention and foibles, flowing freely and fully in His Spirit at all times, but as you might suspect, that’s not the case. It is, however, our heart and even the small amount of “letting go” we manage has produced amazing fruit and wonder.
So, for now, we usually start with music, but not always. We may throw in a few announcements at the beginning, or we may not. Scriptures, words of encouragement and testimonies may pop up at any time, as the Lord prompts. One person will facilitate and anyone who feels truly compelled by the Holy Spirit can come up and share what they feel God is speaking to the body. It is undoubtedly not the usual program, but the more we’ve trusted that He is able to bring His Word without our help, the more we’ve been blessed.
Not for everybody, but everybody’s welcome.
DINNER TOGETHER
12-ish
Each week, every week, yes, every single week, we gather for dinner together after the service. Everyone brings a little something delicious, or not, and we continue the fellowship that began in worship. Sometimes it’s the best part of His work.
MONDAY

Encouraging our Brothers,
All in for God!
‘POSSUM LODGE
6:30pm
Several years ago, the Lord led a few men from our body to get together, drawn by their different, but devastating brokenness. As He began to bring encouragement, healing and acceptance, more men came. Currently, nearly 20 men from our local body and the community at large meet weekly. Many say it’s the highlight of their week and they wouldn’t miss it. While all are welcome, if you’re not willing to deal with your stuff, you probably won’t enjoy it.

6:30pm
Our name comes from our discovery that we are beautiful flowers in His garden, each with her own unique fragrance, and He longs to spend time with us in His high places. A weekly bible study, our ladies gather to encourage, pray and grow in the Lord. Working through various books and studies, all are welcome to join at any time.
WEDNESDAY

9am
Each Wednesday morning our church is bustling with the activities of young moms and their children. We meet from 9-10 for a Bible Study and from 10-11 a life skill is offered. Life skills can include such things as Conquering the Kitchen, Growing Strong Families, Food for Fosters, Homeschool Helps, Home Crafts and more.
We encourage moms, still in the whirlwind that is family life, to come join us for fun and reprieve. Babysitting provided.
BODY LIFE PRAYER
6:30p
“If My people who are called by My name will HUMBLE
themselves and PRAY
and SEEK My face and
TURN from their wicked ways, then I will HEAR their cry,
I will FORGIVE them and
I will HEAL their land.”
II Chronicles 7:14
Wednesday evenings we gather at the church to pray. Not fancy or scripted. Just a purposeful, concentrated time of holding up the personal and corporate needs He puts on our hearts.

HOPE HOUSE PRAYER MEETING
6:30
This meeting of young men gathers at HOPE HOUSE to praise our Lord, pray for needs and direction, and encourage the participants.
THURSDAY

WORSHIP PRACTICE
6:30
Those members currently involved with the worship team meet each week for practice. For anyone else who might like to join the team, would like to check it out or would just enjoy singing with the team, we have Open Worship three times a year, the first Thursday of January, May and September. Come one come all!
FRIDAY

MY FATHER’S KITCHEN
5-8pm
We provide a free meal to anyone in the community on the last Friday of each month.
SATURDAY

7am ~ Prep
8am ~ Eat
On the first Saturday of each month our men gather for a breakfast of bacon, pancakes, bacon, hashbrowns, bacon, cinnamon rolls, bacon, OJ, bacon, coffee and some bacon! This is a fun time of sharing delicious food and wonderful fellowship.

9am
The second Saturday of each month our women meet for a lovely potluck breakfast, lots of tea and coffee and the usual encouraging fellowship. In addition, we try to schedule a speaker, either from our own body or from our local faith community. We love the opportunity to interact with the ladies from other bodies in our area. All are welcome and we encourage community participation.
SUNDAY
And we start it all over, meeting for worship again and eagerly anticipating His active involvement in our daily lives. Please join us anytime.
OTHER MINISTRY & OUTREACH

In 2021, B’ville CommUnity Church rented a house here in Brownsville and reached out to some young people who needed mentoring, encouragement and a helping hand in a few areas. For approximately one year, we offer furnished housing at a substantially reduced rate, spiritual, physical and emotional support/mentoring, accountability, counseling, vocational training and other supports deemed necessary. Our hope is, that while they may not leave trouble free after a year, they will have made progress on the road to a healthy, productive life in Christ.

…is the name of our kitchen outreach. Currently, we minister to our own body and the community at large in the following ways…
Benevolence Meals
Working in conjunction with Sharing Hands, our local food bank, we provide monthly meals to distribute to shut-ins and others in need. In this outreach, the right hand truly doesn’t know what the left hand is doing. Sharing Hands simply requests the number of meals they need, we do our best to provide them and the folks at the food bank pick them up and distribute them, preserving the privacy of those who receive meals. We also utilize these meals for those in our body who may be experiencing a time a loss, trauma or other difficulty.
Seniors & Singles
We provide precooked, frozen meals for the single folks and seniors in our own body, along with a few extra people in the community that could be blessed by a periodic warm, home cooked meal.
Food for Fosters
Each month we provide 3 frozen, ready to cook meals for up to 12 foster families. Our Wednesday morning Connection women’s group help with the preparation. Similar to our meals through the food bank, we work in tandem with a church in Corvallis, so we’re able to prepare these meals and have them delivered for us, allowing the foster families to maintain privacy.

My Father’s Kitchen
Currently, we offer a warm, hearty meal to anyone in the community who may like one. Our goal is to minister to those who are hungry, physically, emotionally or spiritually. To that end, we have folks available to visit during dinner, sit and listen and even pray with folks, if that’s what they’d like. We hope to expand this ministry to a bi-monthly or even weekly meal.
For more information on any of these activities, contact the church at 541-936-9131 and we’ll get you pointed in the right direction.
